Certificate Authority
Many CNS services are offered by secure web servers that attempt to protect sensitive data through encryption. Access to these services requires that you install an SSL certificate on your web browser.
To install the CNS public certificate into your browser, click on this link:

Your browser will give you the option to view the certificate before installing it. If your browser doesn't know how to deal with the certificate you can download it by right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Save target as' from the context menu- this will allow you to save the file to your local system. | |
For information on how public key cryptography works (until we get more of our own documentation on the subject), see this pdf file: http://www.cren.net/crenca/docs/syllabus.pdf
