Service Description
The CNS Open Systems Group maintains the central LDAP directory servers for the University of Florida, and provides this service using OpenLDAP to provide a standards based LDAP v3 implementation . LDAP is a open-standard protocol for accessing directory information and serves as a lightweight alternative to X.500 directories.
