GatorSieve is a service that allows users to edit Sieve scripts on the Gatorlink IMAP/POP server. Sieve is a server-side mail sorting language that lets you filter email messages before they're delivered to your mailbox, enabling you to filter undesirable mail such as spam, post vacation messages and organize mail. By creating rules that match messages based on almost any criteria, you can create a sieve scripts that can automatically do the following and more:

• file mail into a specific folder other than the INBOX
• discard email (but be careful, once you discard a message you cannot get it back.)
• return the message to the sender with a rejection notice (this is called bouncing an email)
• redirect a copy of messages to another address
